SOUND CLASSES

Dave Stevens will teach a series of classes on sound. The first class will be a general overview of sound as it applies to the Sun Lakes Community Theatre. It is intended for all SLCT members who would like to know a little more about the SLCT sound program, how it is developed and operated. There will be follow-on classes for those wishing to go deeper into the sound program and actually learn how to develop and run a sound program.

The first session will cover sound basics, how a show’s sound program is developed, an overview of the equipment and running the program for a show in the San Tan Ballroom. We will also discuss some of the effects we can add to enhance a singer’s or performer’s voice. Follow-on classes will focus on developing a sound program for a show and setup and operation of the equipment.

Last class is on Friday, November 7, at 2PM in the San Tan Ballroom.

Please call Dave at 895-4137 if you plan to attend so he will know how many copies of handouts are required.

The classes are free for SLCT members.
