At the January Board meeting, the SLCT Board approved Roger Edmonds' proposal to form a troupe that will perform one act plays based on the Dr. Seuss books. These one act plays will be performed at the local Chandler elementary schools.

This troupe will be ongoing throughout the school year so most roles will be double and triple cast The roles will vary from the principals that will require normal memorization for a one act play, the narrator who needs to be a good reader; actors to portray animals, clowns, hunters, etc. We will also need costume people as well as people to help with props.

Tryouts will be in April and then rehearsals in May and then again in September. Performances will begin in September. Scripts will be available at our February meeting for those who wish to try out. This will be a fun experience, the children will love it and you will have a good time. So everyone is encouraged to audition for the troupe.
